US Senior Pickleball National Championship FAQ
Below, you will find all the information you are looking for about our National Championships held at Pictona, December 5th through 8th.
The US Senior Pickleball National Championship is the premier amateur tournament for players age 50+.
A USSP Zone Championship is a Senior 50+ amateur focused tournament that will offer all medalists a preregistration opportunity for the US Senior Pickleball National Championship in December 2025.
A USSP Regional Championship is a US Senior Pickleball Certified Regional tournament that will offer medalists a guaranteed spot in the National Championship tournament and Pro Demonstration Event.
Preregistration opportunities are available to players who compete and medal at the USSP Zone or Regional Championships.
A USSP membership is required to compete at the US Senior Pickleball National Championship at Pictona on Dec 5 – 8, 2025.
USSP Zone Championship medalists are qualified to pre-register prior to July 15, 2025 for the 2025 US Senior Pickleball National Championships. Those players will receive an email prior to the opening of registration with instructions on how to register.
Open registration for USSP members will begin on July 15, 2025 if there are any remaining spots available.
This is a Round Robin tournament allowing more games for our players and playoffs if necessary to get to the medal rounds. Age divisions are 50 – 80+ grouped by five-year age brackets. The brackets are set up as age/skill allowing our players to play against players of their own age. Skill levels may be combined based on the number of entries.
Medal matches are best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 for gold/silver, 1 game to 15 for bronze. For a complete listing of the bracket formats please go to pickleball.com and look at the additional information section of the USSP Zone and Regional Championships.

The 2025 US Senior Pickleball National Championship will take place at Pictona in Holly Hill, Florida, December 5-8, 2025.
The Pro Demonstration event is a 2-Day On-Court Clinic and Conversation with pickleball pro coaches Dayne Gingrich and Jill Martin, taking place on the Pictona Center Court from 6:00-8:30pm on Wed. 12/3 and 9:00-11:30am Thur. 12/4.
The cost is only $25. Seats are limited to 400 attendees. Players who are pre-registered for the National Championship tournament have first priority to purchase tickets.

You can register for the event HERE.
Tickets are limited to one ticket per player until August 19th. If there are additional seats remaining after August 19th, more than one ticket may be purchased.
If a player registers for the National Championship tournament and purchases a ticket for the Nationals Pro Demonstration event and then must withdraw from the National Championship tournament, he or she may still attend the Pro Demonstration event and does not forfeit that ticket.
